The area of South Oxford west of the Abingdon Road is liable to flooding. It has its own  local flood group, the South Oxford Flood Action Group, SOFAG, allied to OFA.  One of its co-chairmen, Brian Durham, is on the OFA steering group. As well as the work set out below, this area has benefited from work done since 2007 to the south, in the Redbridge and Kennington areas.
